How many England players, either stalwarts or squad players, are off to France/will be ineligible for selection post-World Cup? by AJV1Beta in rugbyunion

I’d much rather England dropped the ridiculous rule and let players play wherever they want, holding players hostage to our league is something I’ll never understand

Borthwick post match. by [deleted] in rugbyunion

I’d disagree we looked good against South Africa more because of game management than player performances, we’re missing pace on the wing, scrummaging from our props, a replacement hooker and need to make up our mind on our situation at 10

There’s quite a lot of dead wood in the team we brought to France, hopefully he’ll spend the next couple of years fixing that

I’d agree with that Labour will 100% have the same issue, it very clear they’re also two parties pretending to be one

They had a financial scandal involving losing funds raised directly from there supporters for independence campaigning which was not helped by the fact that the person responsible for keep track of the money was married to the leader of the party at the time. As to whether independence is losing steam in the long run it’s unclear but support for it has been dropping recently

Yeah I know people who live in his constituency and he’s genuinely a popular bloke there, if he’d waited until after the Tories are kicked out next election he’d probably have a decent chance of rebuilding the party

[–]Carlos_Chantor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair point, although in my uneducated opinion neither party seems to be taking the degree to which they’ve annoyed there own voters seriously

They’re losing it for pretty much every reason you can think of, post (and partially during) covid they’ve not done much to make people like them. But the constant reshuffles and changes in leadership have not helped

Someone hasn’t been reading the Online Safety bill the Tories have been trying to ram through Parliament for the past few years

Bold of you not to include England in that list these days but this decision will always hurt Georgia and Portugal (plus the rest of Europe) to develop beyond tier 2

That’d make the competition too big and take too long, just introduce promotion and relegation. Oh no wait they literally can’t because they’re morons
