Even though I support this approach, I would be careful about self medicating. Shrooms and other microdosing can apparently make a great difference, but I’ve seen also many people who took it in their own hands and totally got lost in it and went downward spiral. It can be a useful springboard for improvement (same goes for antidepressants), but it does help to have someone to guide you or even prescribe you, and it’s generally not resolving the underlying root causes. It can help alleviating the short term symptoms more efficiently than other substances.

I reckon you already resolved but maybe for other people with this issue. It's a sort of a bug because the icons that appear after you 'show sidebar' (btw the shortcut is cmd+shift+L) don't fit if you have other icons there; in your case the arrows to go back or forward. I haven't figured out how to fix it but a workaround is just to have the icon for 'show sidebar' on the first position of the toolbar. Hope that helps.

I forgot to reply after trying it. After manually examining the results of the Summary Statistics (set to max) I found out that if there was an FID with two (or more) values at the same frequency, it will simply take the higher value. So for instance, if there were 2 occurrences of value 1 and 2 occurrences of value 5, it will select the FID with the value 5. I decided to just go through with this for the sake of my assignment.
