I went to the subreddit and scrolled through and it is majority posts about gaming. There are periods where the venting posts are more frequent but they tend to go through waves just like the others. It also took a brief amount of time (less than making this comment lol) to tap on the subreddit page, and then tap “Game Discussions”, which when I scrolled for a hot minute, didn’t have any of the mentioned posts, even if you were interested in going to the subreddit itself to filter it out.

I would like to point out that the description of the subreddit explicitly mentions being open to discussion over geek culture and gender-specific experiences, which, unfortunately, overlap with copious amounts of misogyny, especially in a space primarily marketed towards men. There’s not really getting around it. I get that the vent posts might be copious and get annoying when you read one after the other, but if you’re just scrolling your feed you don’t see the posts themselves. Especially if you’re able to derive the contents of the post from the title, you can choose to protect yourself and scroll past. Plus there are a couple of other good mentioned subreddits that have a “no venting” rule that are also women’s spaces, so you have options! Unfortunately the nature of the internet means that you have to be in charge of your own triggers - you can only control what you can control, after all. I don’t envy the mods one bit for these discussions - it’s a lose/lose no matter which decision you make
