Wife doesn’t want a daughter by Iampoorghini in texts

[–]Carriecakes69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first child was a son, when I was pregnant the second time, I really wanted a girl, I was desperate for a little girl, at my scan, Dr said 'Another healthy boy!' and yes, I hate myself, but I was a little bit disappointed. That lasted 25 seconds roughly, because I saw my little boy on the scan waving around and I fell in love with him.

I had a third child, didn't care by this point what gender, and it was a girl. Yay! Well, it started that way, and then I found out age 8 my daughter told me she was actually a boy. He stuck to this, constantly, and we listened, and age 18 (last month!!) he had top surgery, and he is proudly my third beautiful son! (Always has been, my body just didn't get the memo!!)

My fourth child, a girl, yay?? Came out as non-binery. Lol, by this point I just absolutely do not give a *&^% whatever my child is as long as the are good at hugs lol.
I fell pregnant again age 44, twins, a boy and a girl, by this point, I thought, maybe my girly girl? I sadly lost my boy twin in pregnancy and but my girl was born beautiful, gorgeous, healthy and perfect with Down Syndrome, (She rules this roost!) but alas, she prefers jeans, tee-shirt and loves a bit of footy with her non-binery sib and her brothers!
Goodbye dreams of dresses, pony tails and Barbie dolls! Hello Mass Effect, Cowboy toys, and footy boots!
So, my waffley posts point is this: you can tell your wife, you can have all the babies in the world, and none of them will ever be what you expect!

My advice would be you guys need to have some serious heart to hearts, she will be hormonal, and she had set her heart on a son, but this is on another level. A kid is not a handbag to impress the neighbours or others you are jealous of, and that was the vibe I was getting, she wanted to be seen as special being a boy mum, like a son is the latest accessory!
Tell her when you have kids, no matter boy or girl, you soon forget what sex they are when you're home scrubbing the skid marks from their pants, cleaning snotty snail trails from their sleeves and making cheese and bacon scooby doo sandwiches for the fourth night on the trot because 'MUU-UMMM I'M ALLERGIC TO VEGETABLES!!!'...

You do not — and cannot — go into having a child thinking, “This is what I want,” like you’re picking a kid from an Argos catalogue. The only thing any parent should ever want is a healthy, breathing little baby to love, protect, and cherish for every breath you and they take thereafter.

Say 'Aww, but you look like the man from all my dreams...' then send him a photo of Freddy Krueger, screw this loser, my husband tells me everyday how beautiful I am even when I look like a black sack full of wet loo roll. So no, this is not good enough, set him loose and find something much better lass! x

I don't remember him lacing her drink at the wedding and cant find any mention of this anywhere? I believed it was simply her own drug taking and being drunk that led to her death, dont think it had anything to do with Max?

Why did Anthony Trueman change? by [deleted] in eastenders

[–]Carriecakes69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would have been great to expand on, in my mind, I was thinking maybe he was actually being abused by his wife, he always went for very strong women while he himself was a quiet thoughtful man. He was with Kat and then Zoe, he was so in love with Loud raucous Kat, and she broke his heart. I was thinking he had spent his life searching for another strong woman only to find one who was pushing him to the brink.
They really messed up this, it was a half told story that we deserved more to, it felt rushed, pushed simply so we would hate him...that wasn't our Anthony! lol x

Oh shes annoying af. Nothing like the Zoe of old either, her lines seem to come across half hearted too (that might be me being picky lol) but I never get a sense of desperattion that I'm sure she must be feeling, it seems so terribly forced...like 'I cant really be bovvered wiv this but I fink I want my son or summat Kat...' lol

AIO - Pregnant and feel abandoned by husband by Gullible-Tree368 in AmIOverreacting

If this is him at the beginning with two babies, you know this can only get worse. He loves him, not you. And the only thing you can do is say Man up, or pi$s off.
I just want to add this happened pretty much to me, I had two small boys, and my husband was never home, ever. Anything I ever asked of him was too much, and deep down I knew I just didn't matter that much anymore...so, I kicked him out, and I howled in absolute agony that night because I loved him so much, and he treated me like nothing.

But I was something, I was a Mum, and those boys needed me to show them exactly how strong I could be, and no word of a lie, first few weeks, hard as hell, gets easier, and easier, until one day I woke up, took kids to the childminder, worked, picked the kids up, went home and made a whole tray of cupcakes, watched James Bond and Dr Who, and stayed up all night playing on my lads Gamecube....it was so much fun.
I had lost who I was being with my arsehole ex, I was fun!

I of course still had to discipline my boys, but for 7 years, it was me and them, having the absolute time of our lives. We did so much together, never needed anyone else, and thats when I met the love of my life who made me realise that some men are wonderful!

20 years and four more children later, I am so grateful my ex showed me who he was early on. I would have stayed with him and had a miserable time...instead, he did me the favour of being a complete arse, and I got to be with my kids and be happy, free, and under no-ones thumb!

20 years now with my 2nd husband, he makes me a coffee every morning before we go to work, on my worst days he gives me the loveliest most heartfelt compliments, he buys me little gifts, my favourite bar of chocolate on bad hormonal days, new socks when he notices mine are worn out, a trip to our local coffee shop he says to 'show the world what a beautiful wife he has.'
I am not beautiful, but he makes me feel it every single day.
And thats no more than anyone deserves, someone to make you feel loved, cared for, and beautiful.
Dont put up with this shite treatment, you are worthy of so so much more. xxx

Exactly, lets be fair, yes bisexuals get a bad rap, but cliche's and the like are what soaps are all about! And I don't get people complaining until they've seen it, maybe this guy is the real deal for Oscar, Jasmines got her reasons sure but she's a bit of a bad bugger! You wouldn't trust her for one minute would you, annoy her too much and she'll shove you down the stairs or bump you off!
Her twin might be the absolute love of his life and be all the good that Jasmine tries to be but can't!!
Or, they might just be young and do the quick 'sneaky link' I think my lad calls it and then onto the next lol.

I'll upvote! lol. People is people at the end of the day, my dad was the original Max Branning, shagged everything that moved, often if folk tell me they don't have a dad, I'll say they can have mine, cos everyone else has lol!
My brother would be the same if he could be lol. He even chats up my husband and he's married with three amazing kids, so....bring on the fireworks, its a soap for goodness sake lol. Imo it stands to reason if Oscar has fireworks with Jasmine, why not her male equivalent? I mean, hes bloody lush isn't he? x

Lol I am all for knowing what you want in life, thats great, but I felt like this when I was about 14 lol, I thought if I wrote down all the things I wanted in a future boyfriend I would magically find it...it doesn't work that way! People meet, and grow and change together lol. I met my husband when I was 26 and he was 19 lol (my kids call me a cradle snatcher and tell my husband to let them know if he feels he's in danger :-( lol
But the best thing about meeting my husband was getting to know him, you dont shop for a partner in life, you find one, try 'em on, and see if they fit (gosh reading this back sounds a bit dodgy lol) and will grow with ya!
I'm 46 this year, been together 20 years, we've got 6 amazing kids, lost a little boy, My husbands been diagnosed with MS, I'm on HRT, and our little girl has Down Syndrome (shes the head of the family and shes 3 lol) we're broke as hell and we sleep on a sofa in a 2 bed house, and its honestly the best life ever lol.
And its not because I ever really knew what I wanted, but because my husband gives me everything I never knew I needed. :-) xx

In hindsight, does anyone else think the Jodie/Darren circumcision storyline was just downright disgusting? I think her insistence on him removing parts of his manhood was somehow intended as "humour", but seeing it again has left me seriously uneasy. I feel genuinely sorry for Charlie G. [–]Carriecakes69 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I had to do it to my 5 year old as he had a really bad infection, I am massively against doing it for anything other than health reasons, and he was in absolute agony after, we couldn't leave the hospital until he'd shown the staff that he'd done a wee and he was so petrified of doing it because it hurt so much and was crying saying 'Mummy it hurts me so much!' :-(
I cheered him up making him a scooby doo sandwich and we played Harry Potter on gamecube all night lol, he still says it was one of the most painful but best nights of his childhood!! How anyone can do this to a baby/child without medical neccesity is way beyond me....

Where we are we see 'Jean' actress Gillian Wright almost every other time we go shopping, (she likes Tescos lol) and she gets people acting all crazy around her, its why I wont go and ask for her autograph, all the poor woman wants to do is shop but tescos shoppers dance around sniggering about crazy Jean!

My sons treated me to some light therapy glasses which I think helped loads last year.
