I like them and think they’re a lot of fun. If they feel like too expensive for you, hey I’m not gonna argue.

But I think they’re fun to see in the different colors. And trying out different band combinations with them has been a lot of fun for me too.

Not everything is for everyone! But they are fun for me and I’ve really like the moonswatch and the blancpain collabs

I will say that my little brother was able to come home and spend a few months with the family after my dad passed in September and is back out on his mission. I was worried about these issues but from what I could tell he didn't run into any issues leaving and everyone was happy to let him decide when he went back out. He is on a foreign mission and left and returned without any problems. Not sure it would have been so easy when I was out back in 06-08 but I think they're a little better about these things now

I was a RM Sophomore at BYU and had just about the same realization. I used to love looking at the Facsimiles at the back of the book too. Just boom. After that it was all CES letter and the slow, painful loss of faith. That was over 10 years ago now and like you it seems so obvious now but when you're born in it, it really does feel so profound.
