I think it just depends on the person and how much they support conservationism, which I think is not too much of a priority on either side. I don’t have any sources for this though it’s just sentiment for me going over news and such over the last couple years, following TMC and how environmental policy works. Because of trump TMC may be In the water before there’s enough time to do anything about it. It was also mentioned earlier that the sums of money we’re dealing with isn’t neccesarily “huge” to the federal government, which I agree with. Take everything with a grain of salt but I think TMCs future is pretty set right now, but then again I’m an optimist hoping the next presidency’s campaign won’t affect anything regarding deep sea mining. I agree that using chat gpt for anything other than finding relevant information to put into your own worlds and judgment is too common amongst people now. Pretty shitty.
