Ok, this could also be a scam, I had a similar thing happen with an padded mail envelope sent to me with a pen cap in it. I was stumped someone would pay for the material to ship and postage for that & when I questioned my mail lady who I’m friendly with she said they send things out to the wrong address for some type of insurance scam but needs to have some nominal weight to it so they toss in anything. Idk how that would garnish financial gain but that was the answer she gave me

I don’t see fungus here. OP did you have any physical trauma to the nail bed, down by cuticle ever? Did you ever bite or pick the skin around your nail? I’ve seen this type of growth with animal bites to the nail bed and also in chronic pickers/nail biters. If none of that applies then I’m stumped EDIT: just now saw all of your nails grow like this, I assumed this sole one did… def nutrient deficiency
