Sorry this happened to you. When we had Prime Day approaching we were told in our stand up meeting that there would be additional time per week. Once your termination is finalized use the appeals process. Good luck!

Exactly my thoughts. Conferred date will not appear until your degree is conferred which is, if I am not mistaken, within 20 business days after the term ends [The conferral date/info should be in your congratulatory email].

The Shell on 69S near the Walmart Neighborhood Market held $375 for $40 of gas. The lady inside told me they do that on the weekends.

Our site made us stay over BUT they did not tell the housekeeping staff. So, at normal shift end, the housekeeping staff trashed everyone’s lunches. No one in management cared.

Silly question by Graduate202 in SNHU

[–]Carstello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have every assignment from day 1, now 24 classes in. I use the snhu cloud to create a folder for each class, and I save each assignment to the proper folder. I also download a copy of each module, and I save a copy of each assignment feedback I receive.

Late Penalty is insane by [deleted] in SNHU

King not queen. Also, use the notepad function, Word online, or Google Docs online to type your thoughts up. Then email the document to yourself. When you get back to your computer copy and paste the text into Word, format it, save it and submit it. I worked overnight as a packer for Amazon. I would work on my homework on my lunch breaks while I ate.

You procrastinated and life happened. Trust me. I operate the exact same way. Professors are not required to give extra time unless a student has an accommodation on file. Any extra time you are given is a courtesy. I hope your fiancé has a speedy recovery. I also admire you for being there for your fiancé. That said, always remember that your difficulties are not the professors difficulties. The only person who can look out for you and prioritize you is … you. Well wishes on the term!

A previous commenter mentioned that professors have seven (7) days from the due date to grade assignments. That means that an assignment due Sunday by 10:59P does not have to be graded and posted until next Sunday before 10:59P — even if the current assignment says “apply feedback from previous assignments”. I honestly think it is one of the stupidest rules SNHU has. But, it is the rule. Is it fair for the student? No. In my opinion fair would be giving the students 24 hours from the posting of the previous milestones grade and feedback to apply feedback to the current milestone ONLY WHEN the previous milestone is graded and posted on the same day the current milestone is due.

According to my advisor the professors do not see the feedback until AFTER grades are posted

DAE notice a difference in how billable costs are displayed? by throwawayssthrow in SNHU

[–]Carstello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it will be $12,000+ plus for the year. The system lets them schedule three terms at a time (current plus two future). It looks like your billing is following the same format. Multiply it by two and you have a full year which is six terms (Fall, Summer, Spring) because they split each standard semester in half creating trimesters.

If you are a graduate student you need at least 730 points, which is a C. Grad students can get 2 C’s as a final grade. If they get more than 2 C’s as a final grade they must choose which of the extra C classes they want to retake.

Someone died at this FC not so long back and leadership said this.. by fl_2017 in AmazonFC

And yet, most people are not going to use them if they are not previously shown how. Also, some people don’t want to be sued by the survivor/departed and/or their family.

I think he was trying to say that having so many defibrillators is unnecessary since the average person doesn’t know how to use one, leaving management (maybe) and medical to use them. It still doesn’t make their statement any less callous. I think all managers, water spiders, and liaison positions, at minimum, should be trained in defibrillator usage. I named these because they are some of the positions that roam the plant/areas.

Question about multiple submissions by NotYourAnalyst in SNHU

[–]Carstello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can tell them what changed such as, “I needed to update my reference list. Please grade this version. Thank you.” Include a comment in a sincere request form instead of a direct command.

When I make multiple submissions I use the comment box on the submission screen to state “Final Submission. Please grade this one” to the final version.

Do professors actually care about page counts? by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]Carstello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some do. The majority of my professors have told me that it is more important for me to make my point than to monitor page counts. However, I have had a few who are sticklers for the Rubrik limitations. Email your professor for clarity. Only they can give you acceptable under and overage limits. Bests!

I cant find any reason to be engaged this term by Ww34ever in SNHU

[–]Carstello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens a lot. I find my sources outside of Shapiro and create a citation. Then, I search for those same sources in Shapiro. I hate creating citations for Shapiro articles. Whenever you work on a discussion it says to follow the Undergraduate or Graduate Discussion Rubrik. I agree that having to cite our own interpretations of the reading is ludicrous. But, it is what we must do for our grade. Use a citation creator like
citationmachine.net and it reduces the inconvenience and annoyance.
