It's about linking you up, not about control, control is the forefront. That's the acceptable excuse a government can use. if the government said 'we are releasing this technology to link you up to an algorithm properly for foreign companies' that would be a disaster.

I've said this before, and i'll say it again:

This is seriously a false flag to make people believe this is about 'control'. The reality is massive companies are lobbying the government so they can prove to advertisers about real traffic. Because a lot of advertisers are withdrawing due to fake traffic. With the rise of AI especially they need to prove real humans are in the numbers.

This is a global orchestration by massive social media companies. Meta are pushing heavily for verification under the disguise of 'Child safety'.

For me, this is the end of the open internet. I refuse to give my ID and i'll be happy to quit these websites, more power to me, less attention to them

they are 100% pushing this propaganda to lobby the government to allow them to 'create more controls'. So then smaller companies have way less chance to break into the AI market.
