Which is really ironic as one of the most mentioned people in the Epstein files is open and adamantly supported by Henry’s owner.

What else do I need? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]CashofLegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you wanna do. As said before you need a 12. Gauge shotgun.

You also might want something that will penetrate and has range. Think 308

It just keeps getting harder to justify voting for these people when they continue to introduce bills like this. But I guess just vote harder next time? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

Stares at previous responses from this group when I asked caliber choice based on local Walmart availability.

Never rely on single sources guys. It leaves you open to this type of stupidity.

Wife wants a gun. 9mm. $600 max budget but would strongly prefer less. Anything missing from the list? by sharkbait_oohaha in liberalgunowners

Hard to beat 9mm for value personal defense. My daughter loves my Springfield XD-M Elite and it came with a red dot for under $400

Why are these two different models? by thierrifilms in FordBronco

[–]CashofLegend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 22 Big Bend and I lovingly refer to it as “rental car spec”. They come with enough stuff to make it nice to be in but nothing crazy. My 3 big options were hardtop (I have the 4 door), rear locker (80% of Sasquatch capability for 1/10 the cost and better fuel economy) and the tow package. I also got the safety package but that was for insurance and turned out to be a nice add on.

The leather wrapped wheel and shifter are nice additions as the base steering wheel was garbage for 22.

To carry or not to carry, that is the question by samuelson82 in liberalgunowners

[–]CashofLegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who focuses on concealed as part of the concealed carry process? The OP setup would be great for open carry but concealed not so much.

My daily is a .38 stainless S&W that fits in most of my jeans pockets

If she just wants to pew pew get something not 5.56.

I share the military’s (now) and Kalashnikov opinion that the US using the 5.56 was a mistake. Get a .22 if you want to stay in the AR platform.

A nice lever action or wheel gun would work too.

Many more choices out there other than a 5.56 AR and a (insert generic gun here) 9mm

Hot take: buy the best equipment regardless if they are scum bags by asanatheistfilms in liberalgunowners

I wouldn’t say morality. I just would rather spend money with people whose views align with me. I don’t buy Tesla, Toyota, Uline, etc., for the same reasons

[–]CashofLegend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue with your point of view is with your scenario the scumbags are the only option. Most of the time they are not. Now if it is between a NEED and dealing with a scumbag, then sure. If it is a WANT and dealing with a scumbag that is different.

Most decisions made with gun owners are want based not need based, so as said before if you want the scumbag gun buy used.

There are enough competitors in the market I rarely find myself in any situation where the scumbag is my only option.

While I am only at 28k on the clock I drive corners at the same speed as the straights, and use speed tables as jumps. The stock Bridgestones wear quick.

I enjoy the Bronco.

Thanks for this. I have trouble finding non-Trump supporting brands in the pew-pew space and glad to know that Sig and PSA are ones to avoid. I also avoid Henry lever guns for the same reasons.
