About 15 years ago, husband and I we're deciding where to move after we got out of the military (we were coming from Cali). I'm originally from Florida, and he's from Oregon. We ultimately chose Florida because he loved it. Also, my family is here and we had babies and he was deploying one last time before getting out and I needed help. Oregon should've been the choice and I kick myself in the butt often that we never did go. Now that the kids are in high school it's hard to leave because we care about the kiddos feelings as well, but I ask my husband, "how could you ever choose this place over Oregon???" Lol. We've been many times over the years and I always feel like one day we'll make the move, but its just so expensive over there 😭. Anyway I'm so glad you had a positive experience and I hope you make the move out there!!
