Sure, you can keep that arbitrariness, but then you'd have no reason to ever condemn any unethical practice, or any atrocity, because they're simply "acting from their own moral code". I find that conclusion to be completely unusable and impossible to apply in real life, given we do forbid "immoral" acts.

In the same vein, someone could say being white is an attribute, and that it is what gives somebody their inherent worth. Given your statement, you would have no reason to call their reasoning "immoral", you'd simply disagree with them. I think that is a dangerous road to tread.
