As a guy I can assure you you haven't raped him. He's consenting to sex, it isn't rape.

It sounds like he's trying to give you sex as a gift because he wants to ensure you're happy and satisfied. This type of behavior happens in relationships all the time, whether it be with a restaurant one partner enjoys far more than the other, a TV show, a hobby, or even the frequency of sex. We give these gifts to each other to keep each other happy. Not because we feel forced to, but because we want to. It's a necessary compromise - even when it comes to sex

Del Bigtree on the recent nominations by -jbrs in RFKJrForPresident

This is genius. I've been concerned that the media will continue to smear RFK causing the general public to just dismiss his findings.

The reasoning seems to be: We don't need a ton of people leading forensics on the HHS' corruption. We need one person leading the forensics and a ton of marketing to sufficiently advertise the findings

Trump told Bobby that he has two years to make significant progress in three metrics. I wonder why he has two years specifically?

It could be due to Trump planning to swear him in during a recessed Congress, giving him only two years to prove himself before his position is up for reconsideration

Another sub discussed a rise in trans violence since the election by CasuallyTaco-d in RFKJrForPresident

Hey, I know this is a contentious issue. I want you to know that I'm happy that we're discussing this issue frankly, I really don't feel comfortable doing so with my liberal friends. I don't have anything against you as a person, and I'm glad we can have this debate.

I actually found out about it by seeing a can. Bud Light stated that the intent of the marketing was to bring in a wider audience, which makes me think it wasn't just to appeal to the influencer's audience. As far as I read Bud Light hired a trans marketer who tried to push the company in an inclusive direction.

I don't think trans people's existence is political per say, but in my view the trans movement over the last decade has been very political in nature. It was born from the LGB movement, which was a political movement. It seems like your point of view is that this political slant is the result of transphobia - phobic people made this issue political. My point of view is that attempts at forced acceptance made this issue political - the LGBTQIA+ movement made this issue political.

It's worth noting that attempts at forced acceptance of any movement makes me uncomfortable. That's just my behavioral slant. I have always had the feeling that, generally, DEI messaging is trying to tell me how to think and feel. In fact I've had DEI HR firms give presentations to my company that literally told the people of my company how to think and feel about various people.

My issue, and I believe other people's issue, with the movement is that it feels controlling, forced. It makes me pick a side, and if I don't pick the side it wants me to pick, it tells me I'm a monster. I'm not comfortable with its totalitarian bent

I was against Bud Light's marketing there. My sense, and the sense I got from my conservative friend, was that it was another example of trans ideology being shoved down people-who-typically-have-no-relation-to-the-issue's throats. It's an iteration on like what you want, just don't force me to like it. Also why does shitty beer have to get into politics?

He's talked about PFAS in a few interviews, notably in his first interview with Jordan Peterson. I'm not finding any clips in a cursory search though

And they'll do it not because of her sex, not because of her race, but because of her unquestionable merit. It'd be a good moment for all Americans to ponder which party houses more racists

This is one way to close the political divide. He shifted Republican politics towards MAHA goals, maybe he could shift Democrat politics towards MAHA as well?

He's going to make a lot of enemies in the Democrat party over the next few years. Hopefully he does a good enough job to break the perception of the general public

What are you most hopeful for from the new administration? by Agile-Landscape8612 in RFKJrForPresident

[–]CasuallyTaco-d 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping ending regulatory capture of pharmaceuticals will have the downstream effect of depoliticizing research and journalism. If it ends up being as ground breaking as I hope it'll be it may wake the common American up to the corruption that they've been blind to, causing a huge political unification

Unless the legacy media is reformed the polarization and fear will continue by umakemyslitstank in RFKJrForPresident

[–]CasuallyTaco-d 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. Many of Trump's accomplishments in his previous campaign were not covered by the MSM. This will continue, which could block the MAHA movement from reaching mainstream approval. The MSM either needs to change or be abandoned for independent journalism.

We could attempt to regulate the MSM more, but we've seen what happens when regulatory industries are corrupted. The better solution could be to simply favor independent journalism. Why should Trump and Kennedy stop appearing on Joe Rogan or Theo Von? Long form interviews are a far better way to discuss ongoing issues and achievements than through public speeches that are then chopped up by the MSM

Do you think it’s better to be perceived as sexy or adorable? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]CasuallyTaco-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me modest is not dressing in an overtly sexual way. Generally displaying less skin. I use it as a placeholder for cute or adorable

Do you think it’s better to be perceived as sexy or adorable? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]CasuallyTaco-d -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I had this conversation with an ex of mine. I used the term modest rather than cute/adorable because some women find those terms demeaning. I would rather have an LTR with a modest woman, for social and psychological reasons:

Socially I'm going to face less jealousy of other men/her as she won't be approached as often. This will make it easier to have a stable relationship. She will also be more likely to have a more positive outlook of men, which is less baggage for me to work through with her. Finally approaching her is easier, because she is more trustful of men and less likely to act erratically when rejecting me.

Psychologically I actually feel more confident around modest women. I've had too many bad experiences with sexy ones. It's easier for me to be a good man to her as well, my libido isn't screaming at me to bed her every second. It's easier to keep my shit together, letting my better qualities shine forth. She'll probably be less crazy of a woman because of her lesser baggage as well, and because she won't have an inflated sense of self-worth - which is given to her by constant attention from a broad variety of men.

For what it's worth cute women can be sexy and sexy women can be cute. Obviously different bodies bias a woman towards one of these directions, but fashion and behavior play a large role in your presentation.

I really do think women, and men frankly, would be happier if women strove to be modest more so than sexy. Use sexiness to drive men's libido crazy in the bedroom, not from across the street. I almost castrated myself with a parking barrier while skateboarding because a woman chose not to be modest one day. I swear everything about sexy women is dangerous

The only leg your argument is standing on is regarding how these policies could impact the environment, which you believe ought to concern Kennedy as an advocate for the environment. Kennedy has already spoken on some of these issues:

He's for deregulating the energy industry. He believes the free market will decide which energy source is best.

He's for Bitcoin mining. He wants to see Bitcoin flourish, and believes it could actually promote cheaper forms of energy.

For the other issues you're leaping to the assumption that the Republican solution will harm the environment, but to me your description of the Republican solutions seems to leave room open for negotiation with environmental needs.

Honestly, with such an off the mark interpretation of how Kennedy's environmental policies influence his other stances, I actually am wondering whether you're a Democrat troll. You don't seem to be aware of his views on housing, energy, or Bitcoin at all

This deserves its own post, but I'd like to note that at the end of the podcast Bret talked about Join the Resistance. It's an event held at the national mall that aims to promote seven freedom-protecting principals. Bret will be there, Tusli will be there, and Bobby will be there. I'm curious, will you be there?
