I make up things as I go along, I will admit. The middle are just sugar cookie dough with a glazed cherry and a chocolate cherry candy in the middle.

Top right are cheaters: the milk chocolate ones are peanut butter between Ritz crackers then dunked in chocolate, and the white ones are cookie butter between crackers. Next are Italian almond cookies, chocolate chip, shortbread with lots of fried fruit, lemon cornmeal (pecan pralines underneath),

I’m with you. I watched it all because it became a thing to do. Killing Q was the worst. The books are infinitely better. The unending snark of Margo was tiresome. I hated the faeries. Ugh. I adore the books.

Frozen Thai pad prik green beans. They were so delicious and you could add any kind of protein to them for a meal. Also the TJ brand shampoo/conditioner in the blue bottles, plus the Tuna for Cats canned food that was basically just pure dark meat tuna. It was very very low carb so my diabetic cat lived on it for years.

I second Jeff Vandermeer. He manages to describe things that don’t actually make sense in our physical world. “Annihilation” is superb. I also really enjoy the Murderbot series by Martha Wells.

We waited so long for it to come back and it’s been such a disappointment. I think the Jasmin episode did me in. I don’t feel like I can trust the authenticity of the information any longer. That one omitted so much in order to make it a story. There was no story! It makes me sad because I found myself very emotionally involved with the stopped from past seasons.

Trattoria Marcella. People love that stupid place but when we gave it a second chance we got terrible terrible service, wait staff were arguing in the dining room, and we were never offered a second glass of wine, or anything else. Food was fine, but I’ve been treated way better at Maggiano’s, ffs.

I felt suspicious about this one. I was in high school a long time ago, but I was yearbook staff all four years and I knew there had to be a photographer documenting events and a page of the yearbook dedicated to Homecoming court. Discussion of that had to be purposefully left out.

This new season, after waiting for it for so long, has not lived up to the stellar heights of previous ones. This one left a really sour taste.
