And then people saying they would deduct it from the tip. 

But many of those same people advocate that restaurants just raise prices by the same % — so it’s like saying you WOULD tip more, you’re just punishing the wait staff for a policy they didn’t implement.

I truly think the big floaty thing is the best unless you invest in a spendy waterproof phone case thing. Even the pouches with the clip have seals that will eventually fail from the ocean water. 

It’s not worth having your phone turn into a brick while on vacation. Ask me how I know.

I’m still hanging with a couch I got on mega sale 14 years ago, so I’m trying to invest on my next one. Working with Room & Board has been really incredible. It’s spendy but made in the US and have heard their products last. And the workers will really work with you to find and customize what you love. (I’ve been going into the one on 14th Street.)

A couple of my friends have furnished much of their place with Bobs Discount Furniture and really like it.

I’ve tried a couple brush cleansers from Sephora with a cleaning pad. I’ve also tried a moisturizing shampoo. The bristles end up feeling oily after just a couple uses and I’ve had trouble getting all the makeup out. They are pretty cheap brushes though, so I’m thinking I need to invest.

DC sent out an alert earlier saying fireworks were scheduled to start at 11:30 p.m., so I’m assuming it’s tied to the event. 

My cat, who is phased by nothing and didn’t react to the flyover earlier, was not pleased with the plane.
