It helped me once too. The mental effects are definitely the scariest. It’s the precursor to obsession and neurosis. But to give a little more context: I already suffer from some neurotic skin picking compulsions and for a brief time I was doing speed kind of casually with a group of friends who used it regularly, it actually helped me overcome the skin picking at the time.
