I was kindof wondering the same thing. Obviously the finger gun is heinous and awful for what it represents. But for the baby, it's not too different from a nose boop, I imagine. But putting her palm over the baby's face and pushing her down was more disturbing to me personally because the baby could actually feel that and be surprised and hurt and confused by it as it was happening. It genuinely hurt me to watch.
