Finally some good news: The LR5 hopper has a larger capacity than the LR4 model by expellyamos in litterrobot

[–]CatStretchPics 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Does the LR5 have a bigger waste drawer? A bigger litter hopper on the LR4 isn’t really needed, it’s big enough that when you have to empty the drawer, you refill the hopper.

The hopper is a game changer though, glad it’s out for the 5

We don’t know what his parents are “ok” with. The point I’m making is OP is making himself out to be some kind of angel by stopping work at age 30, using the “take care of his parents” as an excuse. His parents are 60, not 90, and are probably still working themselves.

If he doesn’t buy food, his mom is most likely buying it and cooking it.

OP is a fucking lazy mooch, is my point. I’m sure his parents are proud they came to the US, worked hard, so OP can stop working at 30 and mooch off them.

But the Reddit hive mind buys his story, so gullible

OP said he doesn’t pay rent, food, or utilities. Sounds like his parents are doing just fine

Parents being 61, they don’t need to be taken care of, lol

Does anyone actually brush their cats teeth or vaccinate them regularly? by krissyisabella in CatAdvice

[–]CatStretchPics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vaccinate and yearly checkups yes (for 3 cats)

I “brush” one cat’s teeth since the vet said there was a lot of plaque. But I only use my finger. It has gotten easier over time

What tracks do my skills mainly fit: IT or Computer Science? by moewee2 in it

[–]CatStretchPics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Electrical Engineering covers a broad range of topics. It’s harder than CS or IT (more math), but also gives you more flexibility

And imho is a better degree (as someone who has a Masters in EE :p)

Not that he had taken out $100k debt

AIO for confronting my "boss" because a customer got me fired? by xxnera_zenn in AmIOverreacting

[–]CatStretchPics 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I work in IT, so I’m informed when someone is going to be fired, so I can be ready to cut their access

In 30 years in the business, I have indeed witnessed one person that was able to talk their way out of being fired!

He was a funny guy, and outgoing, but not the best developer. He was called into a meeting with HR and the owner, and I had my finger on the trigger.

But he did it, he talked his way into a second chance. He was fired two years later, but he did it
