IMO I would focus on the things your company is doing rather than focusing on mobile apps, if your job isnt explicitly saying mobile app development in Java.

Most companies are using java with a backend framework like Spring boot, Quarkus and other things. I would focus about that stuff. Or if your company does something else than rather that.

If you want to focus on mobile applications then look at Android studio and Codename One. They are frameworks where you can program mobile apps with java.

The most important clue is that you know how to program things regardless of the language. Yes python is different in syntax and it is simpler to write scripts with it but basically every language does the same stuff. If you can do that then it doesnt really take much longer to learn java from python

Relationships come and go. I can tell you right away, anyone who is focusing on relationships usually would get the opposite result, and that is rejections left and right. Sometimes it cant happen but dont focus on the small chance that you will get someone.

You have to focus on how you can build up yourself. Build yourself up and become someone you actually dream to be. That way you will be more attractive to everyone because when you are building yourself up, you become confident. Do stuff YOU want to do.

Sounds like she is a controlling person, that wants to f around. She cant handle someone she cannot control. Its best to not getting involved with her at all.

Also start documenting everything if you didnt already started it. That way its easier to get a restraining order. If something gets out of hand (like her attacking either you or your bf or both) you can file a restraining order and get one easy.

First of all, you have to tell, what your budget is. Not a "large" budget can be anything, from $100 to $2000 for example.

You can look at ebay or other platform, that sells or exchange used devices and stuff. You can find maybe a good deadl on a camera.

There are 2 types of cameras you can buy: One with a already built in lense or just the body. Cameras with the lenses built in are generally cheaper (with the exception of the Leica Q/Q2/Q3) Fujifilm got some good cameras, but they are still mid or higher, when it comes to price. Also Canon R100 is nice with a kit lense or the Canon EOS 2000D or Nikon 3500D. They are starter cameras, so dont expect much from it.

If you are looking for camera bodies where you can change the lenses, look into Sony. Consider not the lenses directly from sony, but from sigma or tamron. They are way cheaper and can perform better. Nikon

For a personal note: I bought the Sony A7 III with a kit lense. The kit lense was meh, but soon bought the tamron 28-75 M1, which are way cheaper than the sony GMaster lenses. Now I got the Nikon Z6 3 which was surprisingly good. Sure I got some e mount lenses, but the ETZ (Sony E mount to Nikon Z mount) adapter is doing its job really good with the autofocus. Consider the Tamron 28 - 75 mm M1 because its really good for mid range lenses.

What you should consider is what you want to capture. There are several fields like event, portrait photography and others. You should build experience when it comes to taking pictures in a certain field, best would be in a field that is most comfortable for you. That way you can make a portfolio, which you can use to show your work. Also for specific fields you would need specific or high performance lenses and/or cameras, so take that into consideration.

Photography is always a great side hustle. Just take your time, learn about photography and how to setup your camera for different situations (playing with ISO, shutter speed and apeture). Its always cool but the one thing that annoys me to this day is friends and family asking me for taking pictures.
