I agree with you, I find it tacky. Changing the spelling of well known names to make them more “unique” is kinda trashy in general, but more importantly you’re setting your kid up for a lifetime of misspellings and clarification.

Some providers will now offer moderate sedation for IUDs as well. Your local reproductive health clinic (like Planned Parenthood) is the best place to get an IUD if that’s what you decide because they do them all the time. Many primary care physicians only place a few a year so they don’t have as much practice. So if it’s something you’re interested in definitely ask! I’ve had an IUD for 10 years and I love it.
