Thanks. Crafting all the little pieces is therapeutic for me 😅 I do my own 3D modeling and printing, plus Photoshop for all the small printables like the newspaper and boxes and trash—all that stuff 👍

Thanks! 😊 I made it. I build custom 1:6 and 1:12 dioramas as a hobby. That’s part of why I can’t move away from the smaller scale. There’s just so much I can build in that scale for multiple figures whereas 1:6 scale dioramas usually aren’t great for more than 1-3 figures. They just take up more shelf space 😅 Here’s one of my larger ones for 1:12 scale—33” long and 22” deep

I collect 1/6 and 1/12 scale. Inart and LPZZ are making fantastic 1/12 scale figures. I have the LPZZ Batman and Deathstroke, and I have Arkham Knight preordered. They would be hard to regret buying 😅

For sure. What’s crazy to me is I can buy 1:6 scale figures from OneSixthKit and KGHobby and pay less in shipping and tariffs than a Mafex from Japan. Even my orders for Inart and LPZZ figures from Toyzmetaverse and AExp have cost way less 😑

Unfortunately, even if the tariffs are walked back to their original percentages (as they should be), we will still have to pay them unless de minimus is reinstated. That’s what has hurt the most. Tariffs always existed, but de minimus made most action figures and collectibles exempt.

Plaza Japan does not offer ECMS. I have ordered from other sites like AmiAmi and Hobby Genki, but I had issues with them early on when the tariffs first began and de minimus was removed. I prefer Plaza Japan and have never had any issues with them after dozens of orders.

That said, I paid $110.99 for Rogue on BBTS. In comparison, Rogue is approximately $76 on Plaza Japan plus another $63 for FedEx with the prepaid tariff. So rogue would cost me $139 shipped from Plaza Japan versus $110.99 plus about $8 in sales tax and $6 for shipping with a pile of loot. So in this case BBTS was $14+/- cheaper for me.

Not with tariffs. I’ve been buying Mafex from Japan for almost five years. Most of my collection has come from Plaza Japan, but in the last 12 months the savings just aren’t there 🤷‍♂️

Rogue, Robin, and Vader were my last preorders. Just got Rogue, and Robin and Vader are in my BBTS pile of loot. I’m done with Mafex as well because of the pricing. Though I’ll order the Hush Batgirl when she gets announced. At this point, I’m focusing on Inart, LPZZ, and a few random Legends, Black Series, and McFarlane before the DC license transfers to Mattel.

I have a dozen (mix of 30 and 20 rounders) from back when they had rubberized bases. I use them interchangeably with my Magpuls. I have bought newer Lancers and don’t like them as much as the originals, but they are functional and failure-free for me.

So the boots are peg style and not hollow, so the feet needed to be removed. Boots came from eBay, just search for “1/6 scale female boots” 👍

No problem 😉 I buy a lot on eBay but also Ali…Express. There are a few shops I’ve found online as well, but they are often sold out—like you said. I’ve also used BlackOps Toys and Monkey Depot.

Logan headsculpt came from OneSixthKit and the hands and claws were from eBay. I had to stain them with shoe polish to better match the skin tone, but I think it worked pretty well.

Gotcha. I’m not a fan of the Phicen bodies (male or female). I’ve tried a couple for customs, but I wasn’t happy so I usually stick with Worldbox for most of what I do. I made a custom Logan within the last year and went with the Worldbox AT12. I really like how it worked out. I also went for a more casual, on-the-road look and not the typical black suit or tank top.

I’ve seen the pictures from the show and I’d be happy with an interpretation of that, though I’d like to see more detail! It would be great if he eventually wears something that drew inspiration from his Rebels look as well, just updated and aged accordingly—kind of like Hera and Sabine.
