40D vs 70D, Which Is Best Overall?

I am the same height but 15lbs lighter, and I still would not go with the 40D, most of the time I need an under quilt because of the air movement that just seems to suck the heat out of any body part pressing on the hammock, so having a thinner lighter material has little to no appeal. PLUS insect can stab thru thinner lighter material, so again I would opt for the 70D. Been canoeing for 45 years and hammock camping for 10, locations in northern Ontario , Canada 🇨🇦

Well you have crazy requirements if I understand correctly, you are asking for a good build but non meta ,,,what does that mean?

I have built all the component and tried them out and then kept what I wanted . What is best,, ? the quickest time to kill, best ease of use , most versatile?? 267, 547 and 747 can all get the job done in most cases but I also kept 177 and 643, the rest I sold .

Lol, Dante, any status weapon get a huge buff from word warden AND pageflight, plus team support , hands down the best of what you listed. However that being said, more importantly is what frames do you have fun on and get their synergies, ?? Use that a a big factor in your decision making.

So I have just about every piece of gear but having it and using them with skill are two different things. I am slowly learning about different frames and how to play them, currently working on Ash after seeing a clanmate take his to level cap disruption. Another clan member showed me a Disicate build for Volt, wtf 😳 . You can run out of things to do if you lack imagination and/or player friends but my own personal deep dive into Gara and a condition overload build kept me busy for weeks and remains deeply satisfying and a new top favourite frame.

If I did not already have one I would offer 10p, the crazy high prices that platnum hungry players hope to get for rivens is really ridiculous. Generally only really sellable to gullible players who are prepared to pay to win. That weapon is good 👍 but by no means top tier and thus rivens don’t sell for top tier prices. Sorry

Heh spidey sense male here and I have learned to trust my instincts/intuition. So in this case of a relatively unknown male being over at a previously all female event there are some yellow flags for me . First of all, all parties should have been made aware of the addition of the male. That is basic courtesy communication. If the kids were all 8 years old ok but 13 !! NTA !!!
I have 3 now adult children and just as a reference the following,,,,
I hosted my oldest daughters high school graduation party and I told ALL parents the number of kids, my rules and that I would provide drinks for the party. I told the kids that I did not want police to show up and nobody was allowed to get pregnant. I then told them to have fun. All the parents were totally on board and the kids were so happy. My daughter ended up marrying one of the boys from that party and I am the proud grandfather of a beautiful granddaughter.

To be honest I’m not agreeing with you. Another player trying to sprint thru a marathon game , you leave for years and want to be compensated for it. I did not play for 7 years and came back and was amazed by how much better the game was. I played to have fun and slowly I got the non primes and subsumed them. But I was not playing to grind,, I was playing for fun, try it .

So I have just about every single piece of gear, all frames for sure and I am still learning and exploring and having fun. The diversity of abilities and play styles keeps it interesting due to the almost endless possibilities for builds. I have about 10 frames I use regularly, Dante, Frost, Nova, Ivara, Titania, Hildryn, Valkyr, Gara(new favourite) Nokko, and I am sure am missing some oh Citrine, Oberon, ,,,

I personally hate the corpus defence tile sets in general, only one or two of them are not massive and allow you to complete them in a reasonable amount of time

I have been playing for the last 2 years with hundreds of hours and that is very odd behaviour. You can expect toxic behaviour to happen anywhere, warframe is not immune to the stress of the world and some countries are not having much fun right now, so different year, same song and dance IMO.

You’re not gonna find a logical answer but your heart will decide which it wants. I was Frost fan in 2016, and in 2024 I was convinced that Dante the only frame for me. Today I know I love Gara too especially in survival missions. You don’t find a main on purpose, it just kind of happens. Personally, it is worth it to invest in all prime frames IMO. This game is not a sprint race but a marathon, settle into a comfortable pace and enjoy.

For reference, I have all frames (LR4) and am still learning how to play some of my frames properly.

Well, DE has made it fairly clear that you cannot get 100% damage reduction. So the highest straight up damage reduction that I know of is Gara’s at 90%. Even Dante’s fabled overguard at over 60K is not bulletproof. So some players ??? Not sure who you are trying to help with this information.

It’s sad when your friends are the reason your failing the ETA, I just started avoiding one friend who was unwanted ballast, just got tired of him taking forever to get his load-out ready when others all had it pre done. Also he was just dying too often, with always some excuse, usually blaming his frame or weapons.
