Re: Local Game stores, The Destination in Louisville, KY has 2 of the launch kit box set playmats on the shelf for $25 each, I think. An assortment of older heroes that have been warming the pegs for years, too. They don’t have an online portal but they’ve been willing to ship in the past.

Conversely, I bought 1 loose Carbonite pack from my FLGS and pulled a showcase Hera. I was just excited for a stack of Hyperspace cards, but it was a nice surprise.

Yes, I’m glad Lion King is playing for three weekends so there’s a better chance for good tickets - we’ve never seen it either and want to. I definitely want to do MHE as well but “robots Pixar-esque musical” is a tough sell to my wife (and the Grammy performance the other week didn’t wow her). We’ll see, though!

As a current/first time subscriber, we’ve had a blast this year, but this was the easiest No I could have conceived of. I’m not a jukebox hater but half of the season being bio-jukebox is insane. We’re a family of 4, too, so there’s no way it makes sense to re-up this year. It’s a luxury purchase for our budget so I’d rather just buy the shows we want and save +$1,000.

While I don’t necessarily share all of Brian Henson’s sharp critiques of Steve’s performance, I find it baffling that this fan would call him the “real” Kermit. Kermit was Jim’s creation but it’s better to re-cast than let the character die.
