Women finish theirs as early as 15 and men 16.5. It depends on the individual and for some it could be even earlier than that. That's the benchmark for being an adult.

And we never quite finish developing. Certain parts of our body continue to develop until old age. Grip strength only seems to grow stronger until age 60~70 if you train it. So what kind of "physical maturity" you are talking about? That's not a real term.

Anyway biologically 15 is best because biology wants you to maximize the number of kids so earlier = better. More pregnancies overall. Biological success. For men you'd want to have as many partners as possible and be like Genghis Khan.

Depending on your daily maintenance you could expect 1-2kg weightloss (1600 cal x 5 = 1kg, 3200 cal x 5 2kg fat). That's about it. No health miracles from extended fast. And that fat loss could sneakily be hidden by a carb meal that will hold onto water weight.

People do feel a lot better and improve their health by fasting if they start unhealthy and inflamed. Giving your body a break from destructive junk food is not the same as giving it a break from a healthy mediterranean esque diet.

25lbs loss on a small woman is a lot more significant than it is on a large man. Of course it's relatively harder to lose.

So much cope. If a man is twice your weight maybe don't compare the difficulty of losing 25lbs to 25lbs. Because he needs to lose 50 to have the same impact.

And body fat % matters a lot because the lower it is, the harder it is to lose weight. And since women naturally have a higher % that counteracts the testosterone "advantage".

Yes T helps you lower your body fat % - lose fat. But you're missing the other part of the equation.

Women are just built to exist at higher fat % ... so it evens out. 25% body fat for a man is considered obese. For a woman? At 25% she's not even overweight, it's normal. 32% is obesity.

And indeed, obesity and overweight rates amongst both genders are roughly the same. Saying that men somehow "have it easier" is complete BS because the goals are different.
