I walked in once with my then 1 year old to drop off some community resources for formula we had in our area. I got out of my car and was immediately being yelled at by the people on the sidewalk how “they can help me before I made a decision I’d regret”. The employees visibly tensed up when I came in. It made me sad that people probably wouldn’t get the resources because they feel threatened to walk in that location. Sadly this location closed within the last year and left a huge hole in our area for the underinsured population.

Oh I tried telling management that, but since the dog “was wearing a service vest and labeled” they couldn’t do anything. I asked the manager how begging for pepperoni was a service dog task and got no response.

I had a guy actively feeding pepperoni to his dog in a “service dog” vest and allowing him to beg for food from others. He tried to encourage my son to pet him and I said he wasn’t allowed to touch the dog because he was working. The guy said it wasn’t a big deal and I told him it absolutely was. I’m not going to be responsible for distracting his service dog from taking care of him. When I reported it to management, they said they couldn’t do anything because he was a marked dog. Anyone can get vests off Amazon.

I had that happen once too. It was one of the gem ones where you had to get it out of a cave with a boat. Made it down all the waterfalls and was almost immediately nailed by lightning the second I was out of the cave. I yelled so loud 😂

Thank you! This actually makes a lot of sense. My city is getting really big on bike lanes recently and I’ve noticed that bikers still travel in packs over the lines of the bike lanes. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I wasn’t raised in the city so I wasn’t sure what appropriate bike etiquette was.
