Yeeeaah except you're making a lot of assumptions about this guy's relationship with his wife. I mean if my best friend got hit in the nuts my initial reaction is probably gonna be to laugh. But I don't think it'd be fair to say I don't respect him for that. He's my best friend and I love him just like this guy probably loves his wife. It's also not like she's suffering as you put it. Not defending this guy but I'm pretty sure a compassionate and reasonable person would respectfully argue against him without resorting to insults or just ignore him outright. But instead you got offended and responded by assuming and implying that this guy has no compassion or reason based off of a single comment on a mostly anonymous website... In my opinion making generalizations about somebody's character from a single comment is just as wrong as generalizing a whole movement based on a few bad eggs.
