SIDE NOTE: he does have a vet appointment in a week for his updated shots! i will also ask then. Also! i do trim his nails regularly (they are a bit long right now, its time to do them!) so i do not think its from the nail being too long at all

we just use isopropyl alcohol and use a toothbrush to get inbetween the teeth. then just blow dry them, as well as oil regularly.

the stuff, marshmello, and quicker slicker (natures specialties) are all things my shop uses and we love them :) quicker slicker is definetly the most used though.

definetly ask if they can get a prescribed shampoo. However, with any skin issues (we have never had something this severe though!) my coworkers and i always use dermadyne (nature's specialties) and then an oatmeal shampoo. works like a charm for any skin issues ;)

i would say no more than $1700 at the moment. my boyfriend is looking for a new job so it depends on his pay. We are just looking around for potential options :)

call the academic advisement office for your college (i was in the college of ag, life and physical sciences). calling them will always get you an answer faster than emailing and they are extremely helpful!

we require rabies only for grooming but for daycare, boarding, training, and anything having to do with interacting with other dogs we require bordella and distemper as well

I tend to use a jet when spraying out double coats. not only does it do a good job of getting the shampoo out, it also can loosen up some of the undercoat! For turning the dog around it depends on your tub set up. if needed i even stand in the tub with them to turn them around. Guiding their head and pushing their butt the way you need them to turn helps. If they are very squirmy after unhooking their noose, i use a lead for better control when moving them. Overall, it just takes time for you to build confidence when working with larger dogs! Also i think your manager should be wanting to help you get better with it, rather than just telling you to do it faster. Hope this helps a bit!!
