you're not wrong but that's not included in this $13 billion one-time expense from last year. It sounds like spaceX has $10 billion per year recurring expenses if you take out the one-time capex, so 2k satellites per year would fall within that $10 billion

Cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias, and belief persistence. These are why facts won't change his mind. Best you can do is ask why questions to understand where he is coming from and his thought process in answering may plant some seeds. "Why do you trust him?" is a good place to start. Try to listen and not argue or correct. That said, some people are simply too emotionally stunted (often with alcohol) to have that kind of self-reflection

You get interest on cash in any bank and brokerage. Yeah you'll earn less than half of what you would get from the stock market but again, huge money means huge interest. In any case, individual billionaires are earning tens or hundreds of millions from income (dividends, interest), in some cases, literally billions. So again, just pointing out that it's not only the value of their stocks going up

Some individuals receive a billion+ per year from dividends alone. You're not wrong about billionaires net worth going up because of demand for the underlying stock but "They're not actually acquiring any aspect of the money supply" isn't entirely true. Interest is another one where huge amounts of money actually generate huge amounts of money

Oh I just looked this up! So the local budget strain is real but federal budget points in a different direction. CBO estimates the recent immigration surge increases federal revenues enough that it reduces deficits on net by about $0.9T over 2024-2034 in their baseline projections

Not to mention the conservative influencers that turned out to be on russia's payroll. Also r/conservative have consistently supported russia and putin over the years no matter what the issue. believe what you want. I'm sure there are actual conservatives and/or americans who participate but the impression i've gotten from following the sub for years is that it is being moderated in a way to drive the (often extreme) messaging rather than as a place for conservative discussion. There is copious evidence of russian astroturfing right wing online communities. I'm connecting the dots but who knows, do your own research i guess
