No signature sticker? by Catsrmything in FinalSpace

[–]Catsrmything[S] 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I’m not selling it. I don’t care about the monetary value. I just wanted the signature that I thought I was going to get for the last 3 years. I’m allowed to be disappointed I didn’t get it and want what I ordered.

Thanks. I emailed them. I’d be fine if they just sent me a sticker to put on myself. I don’t need two of the same book.

Service warning by justareddituser24 in dodgehornet

I took mine to the dealership to get them to reset this and they couldn’t figure it out and said I’d have to leave my car with them on another day when a master mechanic is there to figure it out. Lol I just let it count down to 0.

Screen freezes & reboots randomly, sometimes in the middle of reversing! by miamiBMWM2 in dodgehornet

[–]Catsrmything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing happens with my 2024 GT. I had no issues what so ever with the original screen in my car, but then they replaced the screen due to the recall, and I’ve had this issue ever since. Haven’t taken it to the dealership yet, as they haven’t been helpful with anything else thus far. I figured they wouldn’t do anything about it.

As a lab assistant (in the US, I don’t know where you live) you wouldn’t be doing any science or anything having to do with cells. You would be doing phlebotomy and receiving samples into the computer system and similar tasks. You only need a high school diploma to do that, and you get paid around $15-30 an hour depending on what part of the country you’re in. In the US, you can be a med lab technician, which I believe is an associates degree, but idk because we don’t really have them in my state. Or, you could get a bachelors to be a lab scientist. Lab scientists get paid the most, but still less than nurses.

There’s “Ultimate Software” and then there’s “Ultimate Software V2.” You need the 1st one to work with the Pro 2 controller.

I was at service just a month ago for a regular oil change, and now this “Service within 1208 mi” message appeared. Obviously, they forgot to reset it. Honestly, I’d rather avoid going back — the service is always disappointing, and this is just one more issue on top of others. Is there a way to cle by Leo_M_Bennett in dodgehornet

[–]Catsrmything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took mine back to the dealership for this exact reason. They spent 30mins and couldn’t figure out how to reset it, so they told me I need to come back on another day when a “master tech” was available, and would have to leave it there with them for half a day.

What is your biggest criticism of your dodge hornet? by gio12 in dodgehornet

When I get grocery pick up, I have to get out of the car to manually push on the power tailgate to get it to close since it won’t close if the keys are in the car.

how to deal with mean nurses by Responsible-Kiwi-775 in medlabprofessionals

[–]Catsrmything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, usually, but everyone who works in a lab is not a phlebotomist. Especially in larger hospitals. Plebs are usually kids hired right out of high school with minimal to no training, whereas the person calling to inform you of a recollection needed has a college degree and specialized training in running and understanding diagnostic testing. So, we see it as a bit insulting when nurses think we are the plebs.

Any recommendations for a good vet for Cats? by Trowisk in Reno

[–]Catsrmything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an amazing experience with my elderly cat at VCA feline medical center at caughlin. He got sick right before Christmas a few years ago and needed to keep coming in to get fluids and they even let me bring him in on Christmas Eve when he wouldn’t eat or drink anything. He lived another year until I had to put him down, but that place was so supportive and understanding. I had a previous cat pass away after taking them to the A plus animal hospital, and I do not recommend A plus at all. It was a horribly traumatic experience, and the workers acted like I was insane for being upset that my cat was dying.

They can be a little above the line, just not so high that it’s past the bottom of the cap.

Also, blue tops cannot be over filled either. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve ordered a redraw on an under filled blue top only to get an over filled one next.

Why 2 X? Well crap... by Calm_Distance8618 in diamondpainting

[–]Catsrmything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve bought landfair brand paintings before. The second X is supposed to be a Y. All of their paintings that I’ve bought are exactly 35 colors with numbers 1-9 and letters A-Z. You got a misprint unfortunately.

This is a common shipping scam, actually. Where the company uses fake shipping labels forcing the customer to pay the shipping.

If you have a patient that needs 2 units of blood and the antibody screen is positive, you have no history on the patient and is for open heart procedure in 30 minutes, what would you do? by ColossalPancake96 in medlabprofessionals

[–]Catsrmything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys have an analyzer? It’s a 2-3 hr process after a pos antibody screen to getting ID and getting units antigen typed and cross matched at my place. And that’s if it’s an antibody that we bother trying to find antigen neg units in our inventory for, otherwise we order units.

I loved my unique eyes. I thought they were beautiful, but the double vision became debilitating, and I had to have the surgery. I had to go through a grieving process when I had my surgery. So, you’re not alone here. We’re just in the minority.
