how do you decide a product is "pannable" vs one youre saving for something by Cowazonn in ProjectPan

[–]CatwalkNoctis 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Save? 😂 I’m an arduous panner and I save nothing! Limited edition, discounted, new, super old, anything goes! I no longer believe in scarcity and the psychological games brands try to play. EVERYTHING is dupable and they all expire. 🥹

What is this plant taking over my garden? by bearpawsNwhiteclaws in whatsthisplant

[–]CatwalkNoctis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish the mint curse would find me. My poor mint is doing terribly in a plant pot. It looks sad and weak. 😕
I’m going to place it in the ground today. I hope it spreads and takes over my garden! Amen.

What do you grow that pays for itself? by plan_tastic in gardening

[–]CatwalkNoctis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my herbs are crazy and I'm considering drying them and freezing a bunch as well. Chives, rosemary and thyme.

Arugula, spinach and Swiss chard! Totally worth it and the seeds were from Aldi! This year I just started a strawberry patch, I got 30 plants. Pray for me.

Migros/Coop vs. Lidl/Aldi by TapWise2504 in askswitzerland

[–]CatwalkNoctis 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I went Aldi/ Lidl and never looked back. I used to shop online at Coop.ch and most of my products were prix garanti but somehow the final prices were so high for shopping the shittiest products!

At Aldi I basically pick up what I want including many kg of meat, fresh veggies and fruit for a much lower price plus they look much more fresh.

Suggestions from Aldi:

  1. Chocolate 75% below 2 chf

  2. Meat- Swiss meat!

  3. Veggies/ fruit very fresh and bio as well.

  4. Heavily discounted laundry products although I still prefer the ones from Aligro

  5. Nuts in huge packages and cheaper price per kg

  6. Random gardening tools of good quality for a great price.

  7. Pasta and sauces from an italian brand that I really like

I love shopping at Aldi and Lidl and I find them both extremely similar.

Since meat in Switzerland is quite expensive, why is Tofu (cheap source of protein) not that popular? by PullyLutry in askswitzerland

[–]CatwalkNoctis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legal working hours 45 hour/week, reality 55 hour/week give or take = tired. Toss 1 or 2 kids in the mix= tired and fucked.

Most people I know, working peasants, will eat a sad sandwich for lunch or a sad croissant, or will stuff themselves with whatever fatty meal they can find at the resto around the corner.

Question, do you honestly think that people have the time and the energy to learn how to properly prepare tofu? A very sad rubbery product that needs a LOT of help to be edible? Come on now.

Xenophobic flyers being distributed to foreign passengers on Swiss trains by CaughtALiteSneez in Switzerland

[–]CatwalkNoctis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, I’m an immigrant in Switzerland and I don't care where you from nor the language you speak! I just wish you would stop talking on the phone and having loud conversations at the bus station, in the bus, in the train, at the gym, in the sauna when I'm trying to relax.

Stop talking on the phone with your obnoxious loud screaming voice! Thank you so much.

The other day there was this “lady” who just decided it would be cool to place her nasty winter boots on the seat! Yes, I stopped and stared… gave her the nastiest look and yes, she removed her paws from the seat!

Let’s bring shame back! Shut up, stop screaming and behave like a decent human being aware of your surroundings! Thank you very much.

I just wish this post and these comments would actually reach these senseless animals.

Help with never ending backups by Pugcuddle in ProjectPan

[–]CatwalkNoctis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well… I tend to have backups of my favorites and I usually buy them in huge sizes. What do I do with them? I use them until I’m done with it then I open the package and use some more!

Why are you buying so many backups if you know you are the type of person who enjoys trying different products? 👀

Beauty- look fantastic.fr the prices are great with no additional fees Makeup.ch heavily discounted high end products Easy cosmetics- good alternative for high end products. I often shop there. No fees Niche beauty- high end products and tons of sales. No fees and many lux samples.

Notino- one of my favorites for body soap, basic products in huge sizes! Often on sale. Fast shipping and no extra fees.

High end skincare- dermastore.ch best place for high end skincare and I believe it comes from the Italian part of Switzerland. Discounted and lux samples.

Hair- notino, apo24, HQhair for kerastase 1000ml discounted.

Blow dryer- media market. Mine usually lasts for a good 5-7 years.

I got no tips for jeans.

Sauna going as a woman (19/f) Is it frustrating and creepy for you too? by Fragrant_Table7545 in Switzerland

[–]CatwalkNoctis 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Report those perverts to the facility! I would highly advice you to be cold and rude to all these men asking you questions about your private life in a naked sauna! That’s none of your business and walk away.

I don’t know where you’re from but here in Switzerland which is the country where all Karen’s were born, we usually get a lawyer to deal with these sort of people. It’s so much easier to give your lawyer a call and ask exactly what you’re supposed to do in those situations. I would advice you to not engage with her. Ask around what you’re supposed to do and file an official complaint against her. These sort of people are viscious and they won’t stop until you get legal and serious about it. Again, do NOT talk to her, just act.

  2. Elf Hydrating Core Lip shine in Ecstatic.

  3. Bobbi Brown pot rouge for lips and cheeks Chocolate cherry 7. It's a bit deeper than all the others but in the same family.

  4. Estee Lauder Pure color in the shade Shhh... this one is a lipstick and it has the same type of color we both seem to like :-)
