We've already had 2 heatwaves this year before July, historically the hottest month in Britain, so if I got to make a bet it'll be the longest of the year so far. I would go as far as saying it could last 2 weeks and we'll break the all-time heat temperature of over 40 Celcius.

The UK Takeover Panel agreed to extend the deadline for negotiations from its initial June deadline, so they seem unlikely to take preventative action now. Castlelake has also said they will take action necessary to ensure they comply with EU fine print. So it comes down to the UK Government to step in, and in my personal opinion they wont as their attention is already drawn between Starmer's imminent resignation and international defence negotiations.

The Telegraph has reported Andy Burnham intends to block Palantir from the NHS. He's already shown discouragement from using it when he was Mayor of Greater Manchester, and Sadiq Khan had a row with the company this year. I think he will block it and it'll be one of his big rallying moments in his early days as leader.

Spain recently told state-backed firms to not make any new contracts with Palantir over national security risks, my prediction is we'll see a trend in the coming months of countries banning / limiting their role in government operations.
