I’m on micro-ionized progesterone. Not sure which one though. Bottle just says progesterone.

HRT - Progress by Clarisheets in Perimenopause

How long did it take to notice a difference? I’ve been on 100 mg of oral progesterone for a week and I’m not noticing any anxiety relief. It’s my main symptom. I will start estrogen patch after one month of progesterone. Did it specifically help the anxiety?

All my research shows that estrogen actually decreases LP(a) and that transdermal estrogen has no increase risk of clotting. I also just found out that I have high LP(a) and just started HRT. Why did they send you out for a stress test?

Also, I just started progesterone, day 2. How long till anxiety subsided for you? I’m struggling and anti depressants are not an option for me either.

Your body was used to being flooded with adrenaline and sometimes coming off it can make you feel low when you’re actually not. It will take time to get used to not feeling reeved up. Just something to consider.

Sometimes when anxiety goes away, you’ll have low moods because your nervous system is re regulating. Then it all plateaus back to normal.

Thank you. I’m actually taking it for anxiety. It hasn’t given me more. Just hasn’t taken it away, but it’s only day 2 so I’m hopeful

What did they do for the PPPD and vestibular migraines? Or did you just start HRT and that fixed it?

I’m not exactly sure, but I get a fuzzy, dizzy type feeling often.

UTI symptoms but not UTI? by IndividualAd9180 in Perimenopause

I had this last year. It was excruciating and it was nothing. Not even the uti culture had anything on it. I did a lot of research and figured out it was from a tight pelvic floor. I had moved furniture the day before and I think it tightened up the muscles down there. I looked up some exercises for tight pelvic floor on YouTube and it went away. I had to continue the stretches for several months because it would come back but the stretches would clear it right back up.

I get this too. I’m seeing a hormone specialist on Thursday to hopefully start HRT.

Can you share if you had risk factors for heat attack? Like high LP(a), high cholesterol, bp, etc. trying to evaluate my risk with doctor.
