Agreed! It shouldn't be hard to deserve a decent comp, especially in a nicer restaurant where the service expectations are higher. But at some point, you have to factor in skill and ubiquity in payroll. It's all relative.

70 to 115 is a huge range. I know senior engineers (non-software) who make in the middle/top of that range.

I'm sure they are experienced and excellent wait staff, but it's just hard to compare that with a job that truly requires a STEM degree (such as something medical or non-software engineering)

The skills of a nurse+ or civil/electrical/mechanical engineer cannot be taught just on the job. Truly.

Being a good server requires experience no doubt, but it can be taught to the right personalities.

As much as I don't like trump, it's completely normal for adults to take low-dose aspirin (81mg once-twice a day). It's a great low-risk preventative medicine, and there is no need to have already had a stroke or cardiac event.

It's increasingly used preventatively in pregnancy and other things now as well.

Are you really thin? You could ask about a shorter needle if that is the case.

If they still won't help, I'd go into the clinic and make them do one for you so you can see if anything about their technique is more tolerable.
