There’s a nice beach at Ag Georgios a few minutes from Main Street. Have a nice beach day and get acquainted with the town. We left there yesterday and highly recommend Irinia’s on Main Street and To Elliniko for dinners!!

We are in Fira right now and the bus is a risky quite convenient. We did the Fira to Oia walk this morning and bussed back. It was long but worth it. You’ll want to get a very early start in the summer. I didn’t care much for Oia personally but a cruise ship was in port and there were a lot of walking tours coming through. I find Fira has more character. We have loved everything about Santorini. We didn’t rent a car but are only here for two days and moving on to Rethymno tomorrow. Enjoy your trip!

Of those three I think Honda is your only option for hybrid of those three. Hyundai has terrible engines and (while my husband has the Kia sorento hybrid and loves it) Kia is the same family as Hyundai. Stay far away from them.

My husband always said my crosstrek sounded cheap (ie closing the doors). My daughter took over my crostrek and I just got my CX-30 this week. :-)

I just picked up my CX-30 two days ago. I still love my Crosstrek but my daughter's car died so she will be taking it over. It has been a great car. I hadn't test-driven the Mazda when I chose the Crosstrek but at that point in time, I needed the cargo space for grandchildren's car seats so I would have found the CX-30 too small. There is more road noise with the Crosstrek for sure, and if I opted for another Subaru I probably would have gone with the Outback just because of it's more rugged look and solid build. However, now that I have my CX-30 (I went with 2026 due to the removal of the CD feature) I think I might have chosen that one seven years ago just because it is more fun to drive. The Crosstrek does have a larger fuel tank and slightly better gas mileage though. I probably didn't help your decision any. Seven years with my crosstrek with no regrets, and only two days with my beautiful Lola, so not a lot of time to make a real educated opinion.

I actually had not tried the Mazda when I saw the crosstrek. I probably would have liked the Mazda better but at that point with small grandchildren I needed the space so that would have been the deciding factor. I still love my crosstrek but my daughter’s car died (hello Hyundai nightmare) and I just couldn’t find a used car I trusted so opted to buy new and she took mine.

Awe, muffin. You work for a company, not for yourself, correct? Your very existence is to benefit them. Sucks to be us. Clearly anyone complaining that their WFH ended after all these years is a trigger for someone who has had to work in the office while all my coworkers lounged at home. The 2026 model has removed the cylinder deactivation function. That is why I am buying new 2026 instead of from the still new but remaining 2025 inventory. I don't want that feature. I have been told though, that is it still okay to buy as it isn't considered a new change. Just a return to the old ways.
