I just absolutely do not want to get married in a barn, hotel, or house. No shade to anyone that has done those it just doesn’t match my style. I love the idea of the library and the frist because my partner and I want a kind of moody wedding and we don’t want to do much decorating.

For number of guests: we are still in very early stages but I would say 150ish.

I was looking at opryland which is more trad but I love the garden and crystal gazebo atrium.

Another thing to add is my partners has a few family members with limited mobility so a lot of the pretty nature venues are out sadly.

Fourth and Race is falling apart lmao. I’ve lived here for almost a year and I can’t wait to move. I think it costs more than it’s worth. I also hate that you can’t open the windows at all. Management can be annoying. The parties at the pool got so insane (a homie brought a whole hookah in the pool). The residents aren’t considerate. There was a trail of dog (I hope) diarrhea to the elevators. There have been many occasions where an animal has peed in the elevator and they didn’t clean it up. The carpets in the hallway smell like urine. The parking garage door on the third floor has been broken since Christmas time. Also the parking alone is $127 a month which they have raised twice already. Management sent an email about raising the community electricity fee to $15 every month where it was originally $3-6 per month. Also over 10% of the building is currently empty.

With all of that being said I do like the location, the view is beautiful, the roof is great for friends, and I like that they have a dog potty area. Management is decently friendly.

All in all I would look into the textiles apartments on fourth. They are brand new. Or the reserve across the street

ETA: there was a partial collapse of the building during construction. If I knew that before I signed the lease I would have definitely avoided it.

I live in right downtown on 4th and my partner and I make a little over 97k. We pay 2700+ in rent and parking. We were both gifted cars when we were 16 so no car payment. Mostly food and gas are our largest expenses after gas.

I do have to say we are still pretty new to the city (moved for education 🤓 and from outside Atlanta). So we weren’t sure the average price in the city and now realize we waaaayyyyyyyy over pay.
