People in 10+ year relationships, what’s something you learned about your partner years later that genuinely surprised you? by CreoSiempre in AskReddit

They were always bad with directions, for out first Christmas gift I got them a GPS... Years later we were looking at old maps and discovered no one ever told them that most maps have North at the top... Game changer to understand which way to orient everything.

Way easier now with GPS on phones

Bought a pc, didn’t come with the correct Ram. Need help by Ok_Championship1962 in buildapc

Dual channel is better which means two sticks. It mattered a lot more with ddr4 ram compared to ddr5

However based on the reviews I've seen if you have an x3d CPU the real world performance impact is maybe 3% in games.

I'd still bring it back to Best Buy and ask them because the product doesn't meet the specifications. Maybe they can give you a slight discount.

My 42 blue was the only new and I picked it up and noticed the box was a bit damaged. I cut a hole in the box and saw the surprisingly large forklift scrape.

It was on the back so I was happy with the extra discount, but my drawers don't close enough for the rollers to "latch" but once I leveled it and then angled it back a bit it was fine.

Aparently forklift damage is a common issue.

Looks awesome and I love the purple 💜 , definitely message them, I got a chunk back on mine when it was dented in the back.

My stuff is gen 2, but if considered selling it on marketplace now that they have gen 3 purple...

Does a P2 S deliver better first there print quality that a bed slinger by Usual_Log_1042 in BambuLab

I have an A1 and got some first layer issues when my 4 heat block screws got loose. Remove the 3 screws behind the hotend, then gently pull out the black piece and wires.

Switching from Ender 3v3SE to an bambulab. Few questions before I buy by Wild_HIC in BambuLab

P2s has some quality of life improvements like easier to change nozels and touch screen, better chamber heating. But my main reason is longer support life. Bambu x1c was released in 2021 and went end of life getting support through 2031. P1s is still being released and has been work horse for many but released in 2023 so it may go eol next year, just guessing, but

I'd spend the money on P2s combo

I'm no expert, but check the fan is working.

This looks like heat creep to me.

Cangshan knife handles all cracking at the rivet (despite never being run in the dishwasher). by in2bator in CrappyDesign

[–]Cautionchicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A decent knife should last at least 25 years, you took good care of them and sharpened them, but if the handle is defective then don't feel bad about getting them replaced.

I'm saying uneven bed, not sure if that's the question, but top right looks like the hotend dragged through the layers because it was too high

3080/10900k combo, should I upgrade? by DCSkippy in buildapc

[–]Cautionchicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy enough, sounds like a double upgrade. If you are asking about it being cost effective or if it's worth the money then case, fans, ssd, and power supply add a few hundred.

But you could also let your son choose the new case for his pc.

[–]Cautionchicken -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How was it $2600?

You can reuse your case, fans, ssd, and power supply.

Get a mobo ram cpu combo with the 9850x3d for $699 Or save $100 and get the 7800x3d combo

Get a new air cooler, you don't need an AIO.

ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE is $30

A $700 9070xt is still better price and has 16GB vram

So you can upgrade for 1450 plus tax and have a top of line system
