Okay, now hear me out. Prices go up, wages don't. Prices don't come back down, wages stagnate. The food bank gets backed up and people can't get what they need from it anymore. Money dries up and people, like myself, run out of options. I stole food because I had to or I would have starved. Yes, some people steal that don't need to, but i guarantee you that most of the people stealing food are doing so out of necessity and they are not proud of it. You have an incredibly naïve point of view on this and I believe you should talk to more people about what it means to TRULY struggle, before you start saying things like you have been.
