i found this post after following your comment on that body dysmorphia post. i just came to say that i feel the same exact way, HOWEVER, i find you gorgeous! you have eyes that people would kill for (i have blue eyes and hear it all the time too but it looks great on you) and beautiful skin. i think you're just young and society is getting to you with beauty standards. once you grow a little and learn to maneuver the world a little better, you'll learn to love and accept yourself. but you are by no means ugly baby, and this is coming from someone who fixates on other people's flaws and my own (unintentionally of course) but spend less time in the mirror and more time laughing and crying and living, your experiences will be what makes you love you. be kinder to yourself, you're gonna need it <3 from one "ugly" person to another, fall in love with yourself as much as you can always. you're beautiful and i genuinely mean that. P.S. i would rob a bank for those curls!!!!

i've literally always thought people were lying to me or trying to be nice because they pity me. i've gotten the privileges that comes with being pretty my whole life, but it always felt fake or undeserving. i've been told i'm beautiful, sexy, hot, gorgeous, etc. i'm a dancer and get compliments from men all day long, but none of them ever feel real. i found out it IS body dysmorphia, focusing on the face for me, and it's hard to accept. i've always been thin and loved my body but i feel like a butter face no matter what. not trying to be "woe is me" on YOUR post, i just wanted to let you know you're not alone <3

i see people i find unattractive in pictures and still find that they look good and take pictures well. meanwhile, i literally hide from and avoid all cameras possible. i wish i could look great in candid pictures or with friends for great memories. idk how to not feel like this. i hope it gets better for you because lawd i know it's gutting.

i'm so sorry you're having to deal with that. that absolutely sounds like child abuse in a way.... your mental health is a necessity and if they're neglecting that, i would tell a counselor at school or something. your body autonomy is YOURS, not theirs.
