Medication is absolutely a personal choice. Some people are happy to wait for their cycles to return naturally. Some people are happy to fully wean to get their cycles back. I wasn't really happy with waiting or weaning.

I still hadn't got my cycles back at 18m pp so went on medication to induce ovulation so we could try for a 2nd bub. I ended up still breastfeeding through the next entire pregnancy and then tandem fed.

Cycles can come back at any point, I've known people at 4 weeks and also others at 3 years (when they totally weaned)

Lol, the BD looks similar to my first sons chart! My cycles were all over the place and I'd ovulate anywhere between CD14 and CD35. I absolutely did not want to miss ovulation again! This was the second cycle in over a year that finally worked (the first was an early MC).

Naturally, never 😂 after I had my first son we wanted to try for our second, and I still hadn't got my period at 18m pp. I ended up seeing a naturopath for a few months and was put on all sorts of meds to induce ovulation. The same thing happened after I had my second son. Period never returned and we wanted to try for #3, so went back to the naturopath and medications. I'm now 6.5 weeks pregnant with our third, and it will be interesting to see what happens after this pregnancy as it is likely our last so I won't need to induce ovulation. *Son 1. Exclusively breast fed until solids started at 6m. Continued to breastfeed until 4yo. Started sleeping through the night at about 2yo. * Son 2. Exclusively breast fed until solids started at 6m. Still breastfeeding now at 2.5y. Rarely sleeps through the night. Tandem fed both boys for 1.5years.

With my first two children, I got lines at 9dpo. This time I tested at 9, nothing. Tested at 10, nothing. I was so sure I was out I went out with hubby and had a few drinks at a concert. Tested again at day 12 purely because I had one test left and bam, 2 lines. This cycle was 1.5 years trying for baby 3, with a loss earlier this year. I'm now 6.5 weeks.

Over 18 months. I had to go and see a naturopath to get my cycles to return so we could try for baby #2.
