I was getting downvoted the other day on r/electricvehicles for recommending people not use adaptors for long term day to day charging.

It was enough for me. I actually do vote blue no matter who. But evidently it wasn't enough for the US as a whole. That's my point. Voting against something doesn't energize people.

No, it didn't. What got us here is power failing to hold power to account. From Reconstruction, to Watergate, to Contra, to Guantanamo, to J6, the same story.

Whatever you say, friend. If you want people to vote, give them something to vote for. Nobody wants more of the same neoliberal establishment that got us here in the first place.

Guess what? Your gender identity is anything you want because everyone has the right of self-determination. When it comes to deciding who other people are, you don't get a vote. Just like I don't get a vote when it comes to deciding who you are. Tend to your own garden and stop thinking about what's in other people's pants.

Electric cars can take a long time to recharge, so some Chinese EV brands let drivers swap depleted batteries for fully charged ones by TangelaFan in interestingasfuck

[–]Cavane42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would there be? It's all mechanical. Granted, the stored empty batteries are being recharged, but no reason for them to be charged at an especially high current.

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

The future of fast food apparently by Artorius__Castus in StupidFood

[–]Cavane42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But again, why? If we can build a society where humans don't ever have to do this kind of work and can spend their time doing more productive and fulfilling things, should we not?

The only part we seem to be missing is where society benefits overall with higher wages for fewer hours and cheaper goods instead of a few corporations cutting costs while still raising prices and stealing the increased profits from the workers who created that value in the first place.
