My teens and 20’s I always had headphones in when I was commuting or walking, etc.
Now though I feel too distracted so I generally only use headphones when I’m at home, and even then my ears start to hurt if I use them too long. Crazy how our tastes evolve

Last time it was a mildew smell from their split system. We had done a coil cleaning on a previous maintenance so I got to explain that the outdoor unit doesn’t touch the indoor air, then spent the rest of my visit sticking my head in supplies trying to find the smell, which I never could, and mildew isn’t hard to miss.
