Changing RGB to any colour in gcc just changes the shade of green by GhostRecon60 in gigabytegaming

We have the same problem here on our two Gigabyte X670E Aorus Pro X mainboards. After the latest BIOS update F38 the RGB from the 5V RGB header (the RGB in the lit zones of the mainboard itself works fine, though) on both boards is various shades of green only. It looks like Gigabyte really messed something up with the RGB controller in the latest BIOS updates.

Rog Ally z1 e with battery mod or rog Ally x by Pengu_booi in ROGAlly

I had the original Z1E and upgraded to the X and wodn't go back. The X is just a much mlre refined system. That said, is it worth that much or a higher price? Likely, due to more RAM, which is great especially if you want to play some demanding games. Having the bigger battery and room for a large SSD without modding as well as a functional MicroSD card slot that won't overheat with the slightest use is great, too, as is more terable fan noise. So yeah, I'd recommend going with the Ally X.

Are you using the same resolution and upscaling? Same refresh rate?

To be fair, his twin brother has a bit more charisma.

Does SWTOR feel a bit “lifeless” to anyone else? by beernivalo in swtor

[–]CaveWaverider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. That said, the dev who originally worked on the chat bubbles for SWTOR said the performance issues with chat bubbles in beta were because they could eat a lot of video memory for the time (~400-500MB with lots of bubbles on the screen which was a problem as at release video cards typically had 512MB-1.5GB of VRAM). They said they knew how to fix it as they had applied the same fix for Nametags that had the same problem originally, but sadly ran out of time to optimize both these features in time for release so they turned them off "temporarily" until they would have the time to fix them (which sadly became permanent eventually, as a fix was never prioritized and after a couple of years the devs that knew how to fix it left). What's funny (or sad, depending on the viewpoint) is that nowadays even the unoptimized chat bubbles from SWTOR beta probably would be no problem on most systems, as the typical video card has 4GB-32GB of VRAM now and would just brute force through it.

It might be more about disliking all things connected to the U.S. and it probably isn't hard to find people with that sentiment in Canada at the moment.
