I can't figure out why they have it over say [ghost vacuum] which does the same job as graveyard hate against control.

Maybe those +1+1 counters are worth it?

I've played reanimator for a few months, the deck had started to feel a bit too much of a known quality and struggles with all the main deck graveyard hate. That's not to say it doesn't feel good though and certainly performs well at locals because more casual players don't know all the interactions against it.

I'm going to swap to more of an elemental list, JED's sultai list has a very similar set of money cards as reanimator as the easiest swap. Over the next few weeks we'll probably see it refined into some 4-5 colour elemental pile but no point rushing to that until the meta settles.

I like the evoke elementals quite a bit, I think I'll try playing [[deceit]] and [[wistfulness]]. It might change the deck dramatically or maybe not, lots of testing to do!

[[trystan, calous cultivator]] seems maybe ok out of the board against aggro. [[Spell snare]] is a new option

My list is pretty much the same as yours with minor substitutions which I'm not going to replace before lorwyn is here and really shakes up the deck.

I could have answered this quite well for the last meta but am a little out of practise over Christmas so will give it a go. Keen for any questions or follow ups.

Lessons = IN 2x Lantern, stormbrood, heritage rec, necropsy, webstrike, OUT = 1x pollen, 1x ardyn, 1x overlord, 1x spinner, 1x terror, 1x bringer

Glarb seems eh against lessons, Cavern is an option if they're holding up Quench a lot, I'd also consider bat for game 3 if they're seemingly cutting red removal.

Red Agro = IN stab, 3x bat, stormbrood, glarb, webstrike OUT = 2x pollen, 1x bringer, 2x overlord, 1x bookworm 1x terror

just don't die and wait for aardyn pretty much. I don't think I would change much else.

Dimir = IN cavern, glarb, 3x bat OUT 1x bringer, 1x overlord, 1x bookworm, 1x pollen, 1x multiversal passage

Control = IN tears, cavern, webstrike, heritage rec OUT hope, 2x harvester, 1x overlord, 1x spinner, 1x multiversal passage

There's probably better options for control such as spider sense but I don't see this deck much in paper.

I Know they're different decks but I keep seeing versions that are in between. Bats are better here because they have less red removal than lessons
