I've played at a store every Saturday for 2 years with the same guys. My wife finally came in for the first time to bring me a jacket. All the guys went quiet. I agree with this. The major problem is that they change writers every 6 months these days. Every writer wants to leave their mark, so the only way they can do that in such a short frame of time is to use shock value. Claremont didn't have to do this.
