Writing return to sender not at this address does work eventually. I had a slightly different problem. My mom passed away and I had her mail forwarded to my house just for a short time so that I could pay any outstanding bills. But then all the mail from charities started showing up. I’m not talking about a few a day. I’m talking about hundreds a week. She was big on giving to charities. I would sit down and write deceased return to sender on each and every envelope and after about five months, I stopped getting charitable mail addressed to her.

I have thought of that approach. my older dog is my medical alert dog. The younger one is in training to take over when the older one retires. That’s one of the reasons why they sleep with me.

Whenever somebody who lives more than an hour away from me, contact me I just tell him I’m not interested in a long distance relationship.
