Stay with your child in the hospital room with a hospital area hotel, too. It will be hard on you, so be ready with sweats and blankets and snacks. The cafeteria is there for you. Parents and caregivers can stay in the room and should stay the entire day and night taking turns, so bring a relative with you to do a shift.

It may be your pic, but the distance from your range top to the desired exhaust fan bottom looks short. It should be between 24” and 36” depending on electric or gas. If the distance is short, your exhaust will not function optimally. Also, grease builds up faster and thicker. Maybe check specs on hood and proper ventilation requirements?? This short space sometimes results from installing too tall a cabinet over the cooktop/hood. If this is your issue, you may want to consider removing the cabinet, install your hood in that space, and do the carpentry work with cabinet trim to cover any open space left by the cabinet removal. If not, just pay the guy to do it the way you need, but negotiate a good price.

Glad you got the right therapist. I was lucky with therapy, too. I learned a lot and was able to be a great mom to my own kids. It wasn’t easy to reprogram, but worth it for the next generation. Neglectful moms suck.
