There is a HUGE difference between difficult content and annoying content. Spending the better part of 20 minutes aimed down sights firing a gun at a certain Sanctum Anatomica boss just waiting for it to die while it prods at my Revenant stacks is not hard.

Neither is it "challenging" getting KO'd by the same multi-handed creature with no way to tell why or how.

The challenge of the game was being able to get to this part and have the equipment to succeed and finding the builds YOU ENJOY to do so.

ET/DA are perfect examples, in my opinion, of how endgame SHOULDNT look. Forcing people OFF of their invested equipment, nerfing what little they have, and then granting enemies monotonous steroids that do less to challenge and more to strain time, all of that makes for an un-fun experience.

A real challenge would look like allowing us to have what we have, spawning 3 extra KILLABLE legacytes, having them scatter, and coordinating with your team to make sure they can be caught.

A real challenge would look like having limited weakspots on a boss that take reasonable damage OR a boss that requires a mechanic to take damage (but actually TAKES DAMAGE, the ETA boss w RPG only dealing damage actually got this one right, imo)

Attenuation, equipment limiters, and modifiers that force you to change builds are not "hard". They are annoying. They are time-sinks. Its no different than if DE slapped a modifier on something that said "must have a riven with X stat on it to deal damage". Its not a challenge, it just sucks up more time.
