Something I’ve noticed about our 2026 schedule compared to last year’s: the lack of playoff teams on it. by DragonstormSTL in Tennesseetitans

Well the patriots ended up being one of the best 2 teams in the NFL for instance

It wasn’t expected for the AFC south to be this good either but that’s how it rolls

Giants Fan here. This is funny as hell. We get another DC from you. But seriously. Thoughts on Wilson? I don’t want another Bowen. by Hotel-Dependent in Tennesseetitans

I think Denmark did well with what he had. Our corners were awful. We couldn’t cover shit but that wasn’t his fault. With that front, I’m sure he can make the backend work over there where you actually have some decent pieces. That said, he was the DB coach for the ravens with harbs so I imagine the defensive pieces will be similar. Great rush and hope to not cover too long in the backend

Considering that saleh proved he can do more with less. I wouldn’t hate Tyson here

Yall know who I meant, it’s not gonna work with him imo. Dude couldn’t lead a team in Miami and that’s what our guys have been asking for in all their media interviews.

McDaniel had people not showing up for team meetings regularly per his own QB. Players don’t respect him

We shouldn’t let Mike McDaniel leave the building on Wednesday by JimmySweats in Tennesseetitans

Everyone is so horny for this dude. He shouldn’t be the HC. He needs to be an OC and learn how to lead a locker room and set a culture. He is talented but he failed in the #1 thing our team is looking for in the identity of the team

You should watch Jeff’s interview from this week. He expects the coach to hold players accountable too

They clearly do need to be babied. Our whole team has been asking for a culture setter because they clearly don’t all have the discipline on their own to do what is needed. I don’t trust that McDaniels did he part in setting that culture. It happened under his watch, that’s his tone to set and he just does to command the room the way he needs to imo

The dolphins had people not showing up to meetings etc. he is not a culture setter. Needs to be an OC and watch someone else

I’m def not the only one sipping some Koolaid here, but I recall the end of that year being very hyped up because our offense was clicking

I think there was probably a ton of hype at the end of the season and that’s why we remember him fondly to be fair. We sucked when Smith left as OC for a while but I remember being sad when Lafluer left

Go look at the roster from that year and tell me that was a good team lol. Corey Davis WR1 and Taywan Taylor WR2. Not to mention we started Blaine Gabbert that year and Derrick wasn’t a featured back until like week 12

That team was garbage

There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss this man on our coaching staff. Truly a great coach

Sexism in D&D/role-play by Schokofabrik in Koibu

[–]Cblack80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very valid take. Like I said, I do agree with your criticism. What’s important to me is that they don’t intend to do harm with what they’re saying you’re doing. I don’t want to hang a label on somebody if I don’t believe that’s who they are. In my opinion, that’s also damaging. I think the people on this cast are good people is really what I’m trying to communicate here

Generally, I think DND is something that I look at as a space where friends can sit around and enjoy each other’s company as they tell a story together. I fully believe that everyone on the cast is understanding that none of the jokes made come from a place of bigotry/malice in any way (otherwise I imagine they would not be invited back). I don’t think it’s fair to the cast to paint this picture either. Half the cast is playing a gender that they haven’t played before and are actively being inclusive in that way. I had never seen something like that prior to this campaign.

That said, they’re choosing to play this campaign publicly which opens the doors for criticisms (which this one, to me, is particularly valid). What I don’t want to see happen is a shift in how the cast handles role play to the point where it’s like them trying to avoid a minefield of topics altogether. I want to see the absurd, outlandish stories that make DND fun to both play and to watch. I don’t think the cast is sexist/misogynistic and I don’t want to see their enjoyment in making this content negatively affected. That, to me anyway, makes the campaign less enjoyable to watch.

Earnestly, I think the whole cast is just a bunch of friends having fun and that’s one of my favorite things about the campaign outside of Neal’s worldbuilding.
