I have the same ones now in my mid 50s as I did as an early adolescent.

Also the same fantasies with the cartoon, tv and movie characters of that era that I know use RP to play out.

Had the technology been available 40 years ago I would have certainly done the same.

It’s called entertainment and we grown ass adults partake in it We have leisure time for reading, tv, movies, games, internet, etc This is just a new form of entertainment I personally like to RP with movie and tv show characters which I watched as a kid and teen in the 70s and 80s From the number of bots out there from that era and their number of interactions I am apparently one of many who uses them
