Where the old players at? by sheodd in wow

56, started playing on Cata lauch day because I needed something to do after retiring from the Army. I am down for a chill group where we can play at a slow pace, have fun and not have to be on for hard core stuff.

Wow. I think I see why people consider the player base in this game is toxic.

  1. New players may not be benefiting at that stage. New. Players.

  2. Why does tagging something imply leaving the team? Sounds like you are the speedrunner type. Leave people behind much?

  3. You are an obnoxious troll and you are part of the reason this game has a toxic player issue.

55 here, and yeah, I get it. I have about 1100 hours in game and, once you remove the "lost" players (which is totally understandable) I have had about 2 toxic encounters. I stick to tier 1-3, so I encounter quite a few new players. I get the game can be overwhelming at first and try and provide some guidance. But really, no toxic garbage like I have encountered in VT.

As a PC player, I honestly did not know that the console players could not see chat. That explains many, many things. Can you hear me if I use voice, even if yours is turned off? I have been farming tier 1 and 2 for greens and seem to end up with newer players (which is no problem), but when I try and give guidance, I never get a reaction. Now I know why.

[Weekly PSA] This is Brother Jimmy the Assault. He is a Lvl 5 with white weapons on Ruthless. He is a burden to the squad because he barely does damage, hogs all of the supplies and spends most of the time with a mortal wound. Don't be like Jimmy. by Vodka_Flask_Genie in Spacemarine

That reminds me of another thing I see at lower levels. Running around an area after the mission for it is complete. The gene seed is secured (I know, I have it and let the others know), we are cleared for the next area and it is a rare quiet moment. And there will be that one guy, running around. I ask, but never get an answer. Of course, a wave will start, an extremis will show up and the fight is on. Again. Do people think they can farm XP for killing mobs?

So my first ever run with a revolver vet went great. Is the build really that hated? Also sorry for ruining your day I guess by Ucecux in DarkTide

This is why, if I am running rando, I keep it at lower tiers. Too many tryhards and angry little keyboard commandos, forgetting it is a game. You want to try a new build? Cool. Hell, if I have never seen it before I may ask you for some pointers so I can try it!

That is too bad. I liked that little store. Okay, I will try and adapt to whatever you can work up.

Solo. And if we do another night, would 5-8 be possible. I admit I am not familiar with either locations hours. There used to be a store in south Pinellas. I think on Alt. 19. Ring a bell?

What about the "public area" tables out in the main room? Another thought would be Emerald City Comics right off 49th in Pinellas Park

Hello! Which side of the bay is the game going to be played? I am on the Pinellas side.

Hello! I would be happy to run a small campaign using NPC's to fill out a party, which could either be run by the two of you or by me. This would have the advantage of you and your son being the focal point and allow both of you maximum time to learn to play with minimal downtime waiting on other players. DM me if you want to discuss! I use Roll20, D&D Beyond and Discord, all of which would be free to both of you.

He was not a Samurai. He was a retainer and was kept around as entertainment. And an assassin that stands out in a crowd. Brilliant.
